Mookaite is a type of jasper that is found in Australia (Mooka Creek in Western Australia). It is usually red, yellow, or purple, but it can also be found in shades of pink, brown, and green. The chips come in a variety of colors, and each one is unique. Polished mookaite chips make beautiful accents in handmade jewelry, and they can also be used to create colorful mosaics.
