Polished Blue Tiger Eye (Crocidolite) Tower

Blue tiger eye is a type of dark blue-colored quartz that gets its unique flash from inclusions of crocidolite fibers. The blue tiger eye tower shown here has been polished to a shine, bringing out gold, blue and black colors in the stone. This iridescent effect is caused by light reflecting off the crocidolite fibers within the stone, making every tower one of a kind.
