Septarian nodules, also known as septarian balls or dragon eggs, are concretions formed from clay, silt, and minerals naturally cemented together over millions of years. When a septarian nodule is carved and polished into a round sphere, it becomes a unique and beautiful decorative piece. The sphere will have a smooth, glossy finish and showcase the intricate patterns and color variations characteristic of septarian nodules.
