Both malachite and azurite are copper carbonate minerals with a deep green to blue color. Malachite is more commonly found in a massive form, while azurite typically occurs as crystals. This fibrous malachite and azurite specimen has been sliced into a slab, revealing its deep rich green and blue colors.
