Amazonite is a blue-green variety of feldspar that's prized for its beauty. Amazonite has been used throughout history by many different cultures. In Ancient Egypt, amazonite was carved into statues and used in jewelry. This amazonite skull carving is a beautiful example of this type of stone. The light blue and sandy brown colors are reminiscent of the beach, and the druzy pockets of crystals add an extra layer of mystique.
