This polished green and brown moss agate sailfish is a beautifully carved stone made from a type of chalcedony, a microcrystalline variety of quartz. It gets its name from the moss-like inclusions of green chlorite, hornblende, or iron oxide that give it a unique speckled appearance. When polished, moss agate has a beautiful clarity in areas that makes it mesmerizing to look at. This particular sailfish has been carved with great attention to detail, and its color pattern resembles camouflage. It's an actual one-of-a-kind piece.
